The 1st Generation
In 2005, Skyline was founded as the first university band at UNNC by Andy ZHONG and MC SHI. A concert named 'born to Try’was held later.

The 2nd Generation
In 2006, Andy and MC left the band while Leon XU and Colin CHEN joined Skyline. With members of Larry LOU, Salva FANG, Takkers ZHANG, Angel Ren and Jack Zhou, Skline held another concert. This year, Skyline became part of Art Troupe.

The 3rd Generation
In 2007, Fitus MAO, Akira ZHANG, Aubrey XIN, Jwenh QIAN and Xiaohui DONG became new members of Skyline after Larry, Salva, Takkers, Angel and Jack were gone. This year, an unnamed concert was also held in the Art Festival of UNNC.

The 4th Generation
In 2008, the other members left while Akira and Aubrey chose to stay in the band with another crew of new members, Shuaibo KONG, Pan ZHAO, Xinyu CHEN, Zhe Wang and Chengyu HUANG.

The idea of making an album of Skyline's original songs was initiated in 2008 when the third generation of Skyline members, Leon, Colin, Fitus, Akira,, Aubrey and Jwenh were rehearsing an original song. After one year's hard working, eventually Skyline can have its first album 'Chew the Pieces' released and share it with everyone who loves music and loves Skyline.
